The purpose of these awards are to encourage and motivate newer amateurs to attain the mid levels and upper levels of Dxing.
The MDXA DX 300 Award will be awarded to any MDXA member upon proper proof of confirmed contacts with 300 DX entities. Proof must be presented to any MDXA BOD member or MDXA Award Committee member. The award is in the form of a numbered plaque.
The MDXA DX 200 Award will be awarded to any MDXA member upon proper proof of confirmed contacts with 200 DX entities. Proof must be presented to any MDXA BOD member or MDXA Award Committee member. The award is in the form of a certificate Proof may include:
- LoTW printout
- DXCC listing
- QSLcards
- guaranteed e-qsls
- CQ DX Award listings
- or any combination thereof.
Confirmations will be checked by any MDXA board member or Award Committee Member. Application will be certified as to confirmations, and forwarded to Awards Committee for award procurement. Applications will be filed for a minimum of one year.
Award will be formally presented at the next club meeting.
Any member reaching 300 entities on 1 May 2012 or thereafter will have the plaque paid for by the MDXA.
Any member reaching 300 entities prior to 1 May 2012 is eligible to receive the award, but will have to pay the award fees.
A lower rocker will be made available to MDXA DX 300 Award holders for use under the MDXA patch showing “MDXA 300 Award”.
An upper rocker for use over the MDXA patch showing “HONOR ROLL” will be made available to MDXA members who qualify for Honor Roll.
The MDXA Member DXCC Page on the MDXA website will be modified to show a “MDXA DX 300 Award” listing between the Honor Roll Listing and “the rest of the pack” listing of MDXA DXCC members. A similar MDXA 200 Award listing will be made below the MDXA 300 Award listing. Members must be current MDXA members (i.e. not a historical listing).
